A project I am excited to see come to fruition one day. I am working with a couple of other people to start a business with these guys. What they will be used for? That I’ll keep to myself for the moment, at least until we’re up and running. I see no harm in showing them off though. 

There is a sensor and a hub. The sensor is very low power and runs off a single CR2032 coin cell battery. It records the temperature and messages the hub every 10 minutes. The hub is plugged into the wall so can use a powerful 2G transmitter to upload the information to an online database. Currently I am using the RFM95 LORA/FM transceiver module for communication between the two.

I have learned so much about PCB design, RF communication and embedded programming that even if nothing comes of this I will never see it as wasted time.
